Charity Quiz for Cancer Support

At the end of November, ip21's Richard Jones hosted a Charity Quiz Night in Norwich to raise money for Cancer Research UK, the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospitals Charitable Trust, and Shine Cancer Support.

With the hall at full capacity, a total of 19 teams of four took up the quiz challenge which included rounds on General Knoweldge, Music, Sport, Movies and News & Current Affairs. There was also a charity auction, a raffle, an evening buffet and an irresistible table of cakes and baked goods provided by friends and family!

Two ip21 teams were out in force but weren't able to break into the top three positions, with the eventual winners being a team from Strumpshaw Riding Centre, closely followed just one point behind by the NBS Exec MBA Class of 2016 team (pictured).

In total, £1,335 was raised which was split between the three charities and will be used to improve the lives of cancer sufferers locally and nationally.

It was amazing to have such a positive turnout, with thanks owed to everyone who helped plan and organise the event, and most importantly everyone who came along and made it such a success.

Thanks are also particularly owed to ip21 who donated a luxury Christmas Hamper as 1st prize in the quiz, as well as many individual colleagues who donated cash, raffle prizes and cakes!
