Invest East's Investment Readiness Programme for entrepreneurs

Over the last 18 months the Investment Readiness Programme has supported over 80 local businesses to become more investable, helping them develop their business plans, create a go to market strategy for a wide range of innovative and exciting new products and services as well as refine their financial forecasts. The programme is now approaching its conclusion with the fourth and (subject to additional funding) Final Cohort due to commence on the 21st September 2020.

In order to make this Cohort the best one yet and open it up to as many deserving local business founders as possible, Invest East have decided to run a series of x 4 “Taster Sessions” via Zoom to spread the word and reach out across the region to encourage applications from founders who might not have already come across the programme or usually engage with programmes of business support.

The programme is open to applicants looking to:

• Launch a new business
• Develop a new product or service within an existing business
• Or those who want to explore options and optimise their potential around raising finance to grow their business

These bite sized taster sessions provide an overview of how the Investment Readiness Programme works, introduces them to the team and hear about the experience of previous clients on how the programme has personally benefitted them in developing their business.
